Recently I had the opportunity to see the film, Gone Girl. I had never heard of the movie or the book until my roommate asked me if I wanted to go see the movie. I had no expectations and I ended up loving it! I can't wait to read the book. Gone Girl is the story of Nick Dunne's days after his wife, who is a sort of celebrity goes missing. Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, and Tyler Perry were all perfect for their roles. Actually everyone was perfect in their roles. I think Neil Patrick Harris's role could have been stronger but by the time that part happened I was already so involved in the film that I did not mind. I think almost anyone would find this film entertaining!

Film Review: Gone Girl
Gaming Technology
I have played World of Warcraft before. I enjoyed the game but I did not really interact with others online and I did not like how when you got to higher levels you had to join with other players to advance. I think libraries may be able to use this type of technology, but I think there are other technologies that librarians may find more useful in the future, like instant messaging or video chat.
Social Networks
I love using social media. I actively use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Blogger. I think each one serves a different purpose in my life. I use Facebook to see what my friends and family are up to. I do not post as much on Facebook. I just enjoy looking at other people's updates. I post on Twitter more than I post on Facebook but I also use Twitter to see other people's updates. In addition to my friends' posts I also like to follow celebrities and news accounts. I use Tumblr to connect with people who I have never met in real life. Finally I use Blogger to update my friends and family about my life in Florida through my blog posts and pictures. I don't really feel connected to the online world unless I use all of these accounts because you can do such different things with each one.
